Prof. R. Anand is an academician in Computer Science with more than 28 years of teaching and academic experience and a research focus on data mining, machine learning, healthcare informatics, telemedicine, and hospital information systems. His research and professional experience include healthcare data analysis, medical signal and image processing, ECG classification, seizure detection, cloud computing, computer networks, and Internet of Medical Things applications. He has contributed to research projects involving healthcare data mining, guided student projects, reviewed research publications, and developed patented technologies. His current postdoctoral research at Multimedia University, Malaysia, concerns AI-powered landslide prediction in monsoon-affected regions, illustrating the application of computational methods to environmental and societal problems.
